Stuart Hurwitz, Chair
Stuart Hurwitz is an Advisory Engineer at the IBM RTP facility and has 20 years experience in environmental and chemical management. Stuart received a B.S. in Biochemistry from the University of Maryland in 1982 and a M.S.E in Chemical Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University in 1985. He is also a licensed Professional Engineer in Texas and is a Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM).

     

Christopher R. George, Vice Chair
Chris George graduated in 1994 from The University of Michigan with a degree in Biology. Employed by SCYNEXIS, Inc. as their Environmental Compliance Manager and Facilities Manager. His program expertise includes hazardous waste regulatory compliance, labpack, and DOT hazmat transportation. Additionally, Chris maintains a CHMM certification (certified hazardous materials manager) that he initially acquired in 1998.

 

     

Chris Boudreaux, Secretary
Chris has been at Cisco Systems for five years and is responsible for maintenance and operations for the East Region of the US, Canada & Latin America. He also manages the UPS (Uninterruptible Power Systems) systems in all Cisco field sales offices in the America's region, Canada & Latin America which includes keeping all the UPS units connected to the Cisco intranet.

 

     
Jean Bailey,
Wildlife Subcommittee
Jean Ramirez Bailey graduated in 2000 from North Carolina State University with a degree in Environmental Engineering. Since graduation she has been employed with IBM as an Environmental Engineer. Program expertise includes air, groundwater, solid waste and spill control. She has served as Chair of Enviornment@RTP since it was founded.
     
         
    Robert Nash,
Wastewater Subcommittee
Robert Nash is the Manager of Environmental, Health and Safety at GlaxoSmithKline's RTP facilities. Robert has 19 years in the Environmental Health and Safety profession. Robert received a bachelor of Chemical Engineering from Georgia Tech in 1985 and is a licensed Professional Engineer in NC. Robert also received an MBA from Duke University in 2003.
