Environment@rtp is a committee created by the RTP Owners and Tenants Association  to focus on environmental issues that face RTP owners and tenants.

The committee was established in 2002 and is funded by the RTP Service District Advisory Board.

Mission Statement
The purpose of Environment@rtp is to jointly address environmental issues in Research Triangle Park in the areas of air, water, waste and wildlife habitat management.

Objectives:
To share best practices among RTP organizations to create effective programs for addressing environmental issues
To create joint strategies between RTP organizations, were appropriate, to minimize cost
To minimize the environmental impact of RTP on surrounding communities
To work together, with local municipalities, to address environmental issues
To bring environmental education resources to RTP organizations
